I visited Soul in March this year, and I can’t stop thinking about it after I’m back. Seoul is such a beautiful modern city full of fashion, history and lifestyle. This blog is a mini summary of my activity and style during my stay in Seoul. The style I went for is mainly a mix of denim and sporty casual spring layering looks.

Seoul sky is a such a beautiful iconic tower offering the best view of the city
I didn’t go up to the top of the tower, but having lunch in the middle floor already got me love the city more.
After lunch, a walk by the Seokchon Lake and have a coffee is such a vibe.
COEX mall library is such an Instagram popular location with high celling design bookshelf and thousands of books around the place, I have checked the books on the higher shelfs are not real books, they are for decoration 🙂
I have also visited the most trendy area nearby Gangnam-gu, and tried Dior Cafe, honestly the coffee was nothing special, but the cheese cake is not bad.

The next day, I went to the traditional town near the Palace, the whole area is full of Korean traditional houses, and you can find culture, food, architecture and cute cafes here.

I also went pass by Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP), the landmark in Dongdaemun, there are a lot of art space you can explore in side and the outside is such a massive inspiration.
I have finally got my hands on a pair of Gentle Monster sunglasses, it is such a great shopping experience at the flagship store in Seoul, the contemporary art works displayed are very impressive, and the service there is amazing, staff will adjust the sunglasses based on my size to ensure it fits comfortably, and assist with tax refund.
Incheon is also an amazing place where the international airport is located, this area is brand new with thousands apartment being built, and it is also quiet, near the sea, a great place to chillout with friends for some tea and good food.
Mapo-gu area is amazing place to hangout at, it is near all the famous universities. It’s full of young people and energy. I love the colourful street, coffeeshops, yummy but cheap food joints, as well as affordable fashion.

Although my time in Seoul is short, I have to arrange a day just for shopping and browsing. Especially I love Korean fashion. And the place I go to is Myeongdong. It is such a rewarding day for myself. I got to eat my favourite crab, enjoyed a foot massage, and done some responsible shopping.

My fav – marinated crab set meal (with seaweed rice and side dishes)
Han river is the soul of Seoul, have a walk and scroll along the river is must do to feel the vein of the city.

One thing I must mention is that since I am a huge coffee lover, Korea is the heaven. Coffee shops in Seoul close very late, and there are thousands of coffee shops everywhere. I had a goal of testing out 25 coffee shops in my 5 days time there before I went there. Unfortunately I didn’t complete my target. But I did check out some unique and beautiful coffee shops while I was there.

There are unlimited words and memory I have got for Seoul. It is definitely a place I want to go back to.

Lastly, some amazing food I have had in Korea, hope to get you excited for Korea.
