Hi it’s spring in Australia, what have you got in your wardrobe? Before I reveal my new street style, I have a little update about myself.

I have been really really sick during the last two weeks in hospital and I am still in the process of recovering. The fact is I could have said goodbye to this world, that is how serious my condition was. During the time in hospital, I missed out on Mercedes Fashion Week; I delayed many brand collaborations; I was not able to attend work training and corporate events. It was really tough for me to accept what just happened so suddenly that changed my entire August. Now I am so blessed that I am fine and able to come back to my sweet home and sitting here writing my blog again. Life is so fragile and short, I am sure every person who has been through similar situation can tell you all sorts of quotes about life. What I found the most important things after I came out of ICU are that:

  1. Family is the most precious thing I have. My husband took me to emergency immediately that day so my life could be saved. My mom was there in the hospital helping me with eating, mobilising, showering, sleeping, so that I can heal faster. Both of them are my greatest daily support. The best nurse are always family members.
  2. Friends and external support is so important as well. I had 100% support and care from my work colleagues, their warm gifts and messages made me feel that I matter as a person. They immediately taken care of my work so that I don’t have to worry about anything while fighting with sickness. My friends visited me in hospital, just having a normal chat with them made me feel a lot better and happier as I felt I was completely locked down from outside world for days. Being sick in bed is not just suffering from physical pain, but also suffering from isolation and the risk of mental break down. It is so important for a patient to feel reconnected and being normal again.
  3. Last but not least, it is important to enjoy life while we can. Care less, laugh more. Be happy, be the best of myself. Life is short, and you only live once.

So after I left hospital and being able to walk and breath normally again, I decided to fresh up myself a little bit.

First I went shopping, yes, this is probably the activity I enjoy the most. I brought my mom some gifts and also some new babies for myself to celebrate life. Two pieces I bought this season: a Fendi bag and a GUCCI belt, if you want to know more details. I have uploaded a unboxing video on my Youtube channel, you can watch it here https://youtu.be/4otVhvlQlgw . Then I got a new hair cut, as you can see my hair was very long few days ago, now it’s medium length and so much lighter, love it so much.

Ok, here is my new spring street style shots. I styled my new Fendi bag with a Red heart print silk shirt with dramatic collars, a pair of high waist daddy jeans with massive sequences, and a pair of chunky sneakers I got from Santorini, Greece. (Watch out for my Santorini trip blog coming up soon). I hope you enjoyed reading my blog, have a wonderful day.

Wow I am glad you survived and are now out of the hospital. I do understand I was became very ill when I was 12 and was out of commission for almost 8 months and was in the hospital for over a month and came very close to dying multiple times. But as I was so young I could not understand life and only understood the pain and suffering.

You deserved to go shopping! And what a great look. I LOVE the blouse!
