Sharing my winter fashion style in Australia for 2020.

It’s kinda hard to keep up with the world’s fashion trends when Australia’s seasons are opposite from most of the fashion hubs. And we always receives the last year’s collections from the northern hemisphere because the new seasons are not yet released from the other side of the world.

Now when the Europe and the U.S. is getting warm, Australia is slowly moving to winter, luckily Brisbane winter is not snowing cold, we can definitely wear dresses and shorts. So we still have some options from the spring and fall collections.

Wearing Jenny Dress from Kireina
Perfect length for winter dress selection

A good approach to this seasonal difference is for Australians to create their own fashion empire and release new seasons according to Australia’s seasons. This is again what I kept advocating – support local fashion label and businesses.

It does not have body shape requirements

Apart from browsing at department stores like David Jones and Myer, there are a lot of online based Australian fashion labels that caters to everyday styles, Kireina is one of them.

I received this Jenny Dress from Australian fashion label Kireina. I realised that their material is surprisingly good, the silk is very light-weighted yet comfortable to wear, my skin is feeling smoothly touched by the fabric. Not to mention its wide fit and the brightening colour combo, this dress is a winner. I can see myself wearing it during summer as well.

A lot of Australian fashion labels produces high quality collections, but we probably don’t know about them, I would love to discover and share more of my styles with local fashion collections that are good quality, timeless and sustainable, let me know if you want to see more. I love the fact that even if it’s winter you can still wear spring dresses. I love the fur detail of this look. Very chic!
